I still think it's sad that this got so much news and the real issues behind the campaign are consistently being ignored. I do love the word imagery in the lipstick comment though.
Good comment. Why do you think that the media chooses to portray this comment in this way? What does it accomplish besides moving away from the "real" issues?
I think the media like a martyr. We as a culture would definitely rather hear about a martyr. It is interesting but thinking that Sarah Palin is being wrongfully treated brings out emotions in everyone good or bad. Emotions sell news, because something you are passionate about you will want to read about.
